John Douglas is one of the most significant figures in criminal justice history. His advancement of psychological profiling of violent criminals was groundbreaking stuff and many of the things they pioneered are still in use today. If you haven’t read Mindhunter, you should. Douglas has been connected to many of the most prolific and disturbed killers to ever live.

The show takes a lot of creative liberties, but it’s based on real crimes and real people. An awful of of what they used was extremely accurate. Scary as hell. Can’t wait for season 2.

It's OK, not great - I had to remind myself to watch the last episode; which isn't a good sign. Crowe underwent quite a transformation to become Roger Ailes. Lots of red meat for left leaning folks. Having Seth McFarlane play one of the main characters is kind of like Clint Eastwood playing Joe Biden in a docu-series about the Obama Administration.

Yeah I echo this, it was watchable, I thought Crowe did a pretty good job. Kind of crazy all the hush money that was paid out.

I saw a episode of Succession which is in season 2, never heard of it before, I thought it was pretty entertaining, Brian Cox is always great, I don't know if anyone else has watched it?

I do like that intro a lot

I have. Out of college, I bought three of his books. Read them. Honestly, it ****ed with my mind after a while. They’re sitting on one of our many book shelves downstairs in the living room. I should probably go and get them and hide them as I don’t need my kids to stumble upon them as at least one of them has pics from crime scenes iirc.

Just finished season one of The Boys. I loved it. Jack Quaid is like a less dorky Colin Hanks but can act. The dude from Banshee who plays Homelander actually has some really impressive chops. A tortured soul. Like that. Though much of that is simply natural in his unique eyes and lips. But on top of that, the dude can really act to bring that depth out. Shue was strong. And Urban who is usually awful with an American accent was very solid. The French dude too.

Also I’d totally bang Starlite.

I always trust your opinion on shows/movies. Gonna watch it.
