Best shows on TV?

Started watching Jack Ryan. It's been pretty good. I like their use of native language throughout. The only issue I have with that is that you end up reading 3/4 of the show. Not a good casual watch. You need to be prepared to sit and watch it intensely to make sure you don't miss anything. So that's kind of a mixed bag.

Just started Peacemaker. This show is amazing. It scratches just about every itch you'd expect from the man who created PG Porn.

I’ve been wanting to watch this so I appreciate your input about needing to be focused on the show.

Finished Peacemaker, the end is a bit of a tonal shift, but the show as a whole is great and hilarious.

Just started Our Flag Means Death. First episode in, I like it, but I'm not in love with it - but
Blackbeard
hasn't shown up yet, I bet that will add a lot.

I really like Black Sails but I tried pimping it here and several people said they didn't like it.

Yeah, not many fans.

I really enjoyed the battle scenes at sea. I don't think I've ever seen better sailing ship battle scenes.

I've been watching all the Marvel universe movies and shows in time-line order. Am starting Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and I'm bored after the first two episodes. Does it get better?

Yes, they're kind of treading water until the events of Captain America 2 happen.

Also, Clark Gregg is the best thing about the show, at least until I got distracted around Season 4.

It does and it doesn't. We lost interest after maybe season 3 or into season 4. Becomes more formulaic and we ended up just watching for the next direct reference to the movies or other properties. So it's ok, but I wouldn't say great.

I've made it through 9 episodes of Agents of SHIELD, and I'm still not sure it is worth my time after I realized Coulsen is alive. Except I am slightly interested in what happened to him in "Tahiti, a magical place" so I'll keep watching for a bit. At least the timeline suggestion I'm following throws a movie in once in a while (just watched Thor Dark World).

The Coulsen story line ends up being the best story line of the whole thing, imo.

I'm finding myself not caring too much about anyone but Coulsen, but the series is picking up after the events in The Winter Soldier.

There is a lot of debate on this one coming from helicopter parents, but I love it. The Netflix show, which is a subtitled Japanese show, is called 'Old Enough!' It is great!
