Best shows on TV?

The Leftovers is one of the best shows that I have ever seen. It is really heavy. I remember that reviewers at the time were saying that it was difficult to watch because it was so depressing.

My brother was really high on that show. I watched the first season but for whatever reason stopped watching it during the second. Guess I better finish it one of these days.

I'm three episodes into Carnival Row on Amazon Prime and I really like it. It starts a little slow and you have to have the volume up loud to hear the dialogue in many parts, but ultimately, it's artsy af and has many themes that interests me e.g. the Victorian era, steampunk, fantasy, and dark.

For never hearing of this show before it was released, I must say that I'm impressed with the graphics. While not the best, they're right up there with big budget shows like GOT. The attention to detail is remarkable. Again, it's not perfect, but done well enough you get by believing it.

Recommend a watch.

I gotta watch The Leftovers and Deadwood at some point.

Deadwood is one of my all time favorites. Ended very prematurely which sucked.

On a side note, I met Kim Dickinson from that show a year ago. She was the main mother in Fear the Walking Dead as well.

Finished the sinner. I really liked it. Intriguing to the end. They did a good job of keeping you guessing. I'm looking forward to season 2.

Anyone watch the Righteous Gemstones. It has a good comedic cast, and I have the first 2 episodes recorded.

I watched the first episode. John Goodman did well, as usual, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the plot. I'm not sure if I will watch any more.

I watched Better Than Us (Netflix) over the weekend. One of my favorite themes (robots trying to be more human), full of good guys who don't trust/like each other, some really bad guys, and humans/robots just struggling with who they are. I greatly enjoyed it.
