I have no idea why you're screwing around with these small murder mystery shows when Breaking Bad is just sitting there waiting for you.

IMO the best tv drama ever. It does start slow but honestly if you didnt like the first 6 episodes maybe its not for you. I was hooked by then. It does get better but I was hooked.

I watched the first season of Mad Men and did not get the excitement for it. The show was too slow for me and nothing made me want to watch the next episode. Not saying it was a bad show, it seems well done just too depressing and slow for me. I would not include this with the others on this list imo. It does get views and lots of people love it so maybe its just me.

I think anyone who decides to try to watch breaking bad has to at least give it until gus and mike show up.
If they still don't like it, then give up on it
 
Rome was awesome. Thanks Bawse. Thinking of watching Top of the Lake now. %93 on RT but I haven't decided yet.

I really liked about 90% of Top of the Lake, but there was some stuff that was just overly weird and unnecessary to the plot imo. Distracted from an otherwise great story. Still worth seeing for sure.
