Yeah, I think it depends on the person. My doc said I had the worst bone bruise from an ACL injury he's ever seen. I also tore my meniscus, lcl and a lil of my mcl (I think.)

The first 30 seconds were absolutely brutal. I remember screaming out in pain. Then it subsided and I tried to get up to fight the guy who cheap shorted me but I couldn't walk.

My knew swelled up huge, but I remember walking the Vegas strip before surgery.

ACL surgery was crazy painful for me too. I had bruising from my toes to thighs.

Same here. First 20 sec or so I was rolling on the field screaming. Then it was better and was able to walk and even did linesmen duties as we had no more subs that game. And was able to drive car home for 45 min or so. It sucks. I dislike Cousins as a player and person but feel sympathy for all those injuries.
 
Use the offseason to work on your skills and strengthen up!!!


My game is vastly improved (especially my off-hand) this summer and i havent played a single game...
 
I tore my acl then killed a bear with my bare hands afterwards. Zero pain. Yall sound like some babies.

Sorry to hear that. I can run and play soccer and basketball but I lost about 30% of my speed. Sucks to be slow. No wonder 99% of professional athletes get patella grafts instead.
