Boozer to NJ - Why I think it will happen

Favors is much, much, much too valuable an asset to be a component for a Booze S&T. This is crazy talk.

You completely over-rate Favors. He has accomplished NOTHING other than bad stats for someone with his supposed talent. He is an underachiever on a bad team. Boozer is a 20/10 guy, and anyways, Boozer ISN'T THE PRIZE. YOU ARE TRADING FAVORS FOR LEBRON. Boozer gets you LeBron. Wade isn't going to play with LeBron, Bosh wants to be his own man, and he can't do that with LeBron, Amare isn't as good as Boozer (and before you shake your head, 4 rebounds in the playoffs is not good. That is pathetic) and Boozer is better than Johnson. Like I said before, with Boozer, NJ has the best chance of landing LeBron because they can give him everything he wants, unlike everybody else.

Favors is a lot closer to Marvin Williams than to Boozer.

Lol, Favors is a beast who can rebound and play defense. He put up bad numbers at GT because the position he played at had a good upperclassmen at it. Also their guards blew and couldnt get him the ball. Favors is nothing like Marvin Williams, he is nothing like Boozer either (besides rebounding ability). He is more like Dwight Howard, an athletic freak with a big frame who is a willing defender.

Trade what??? What leverage does the Jazz REALLY have utilizing Boozer?

Really? You do realize that we are talking about the same guy that swindled a blind guy. We are talking about the guy that just wanted to get his "raise." Boozer is about the benjamins and we can give him the most. Utah owns his soul, because we can give him the most. Boozer will go to the team that will give him the most $$$ and that is Utah or a S&T. NJ is the only team that can give him max money and not have it adversely affect them.

I don't know if it will happen or not, but with all the evidence out there, this makes more sense than any other senario.

Delusional. About Favors being overrated. About Boozer being a draw for LeBron (WoW!!!). Maybe right about Amare though, I'll give you that.

LOL. Favors has done NOTHING. Boozer is a top 5, possibly top 3 PF. There is no doubt if you are NJ. If Boozer gives the best chance for LeBron, Favors is nothing. Nada. Zilch. NOTHING.

You're missing the point. We're talking about Favors as an asset, not how good he is or isn't. He's an extremely, extremely, valuable asset to Jersey. If they told everyone he was available, they'd be inundated with phone calls.

No, that is exactly my point. Favors can land them LeBron. That is the point. Boozer is just the means to an end. Boozer makes the Nets look more attractive than any other player not named Bosh, and there is no way Bosh would take the risk to sign with NJ and watch Chicago win more games. Boozer would be happy winning titles or 10 games, as long as he gets his "raise."

You know, this is pure speculation on my part, but can you think of a better way for NJ to get LeBron. This just seems to make too much sense to me. They can get a top PF, clear cap space, keep Lopez and Harris, and, I believe, have the best chance at LeBron. I dunno, can you think of a better way for them to get LeBron?

PURE SPECULATION ON MY PART. But in my mind, it makes PERFECT sense. ;)

Okay, can one "bow back in" ... ? Anyway, this trade has major legs. At the Nets board and has been discussed, lightly, across a couple of other media outlets ... ALL making speculative news.
