Boozer to NJ - Why I think it will happen

No one is going to do a sign and trade for Booz - there is no reason to do so. He will not be given a max contract.

Way to Bogart my idea. Yours obviously has more wheels because mine's already on to page two in this forum but that still doesn't mean that you're not a hack. You are.

There is plenty of reason to do so...if it "nets" (ha ha) LeBron. This is not the Jazz, or NO we are talking about. This is the Russian Mark Cuban, who said he was going to compete for a title NEXT year. Not in two or three when Favors may or may not pan out. Harris, defensive sg who can hit threes, LeBron, Boozer and Lopez is a contender next year. NEXT year. Guaranteed.
 
To restate what I said in my other thread, and I'm not sure if it's been brought up here, but Favors for Boozer gets the Nets a proven all-star 4 whose deficiencies on defense can be masked much greater in NJ with Lopez behind him. That move, as has been hijacked onto this thread from mine, may help net Lebron. Worst case, they don't get Lebron yet still have a very strong 4/5 combo, a decent point guard, some young wings, and a lot of cap room to go after Brooklyn (yes, I know he's also from Baltimore) boy Carmelo next summer, a year before they're supposed to move there. It's win-win all the way around for NJ imo.
