Are you saying that because parts of the Muslims world were occupied for a few years within their millennium of ****, they're blowing up tourists and conducting a world-wide campaign of terror? Ya, tell that to the Indians who must live in fear because the plague happened to infect 20% of their population, putting the other 80% in serious danger. Or to the Saudis who treat their women worse than non-savages treat their pets, despite not having been occupied by anyone ever.

When Muslims carry out an act of terror, then release a video bragging about it, and quoting justifications from Quran, while Islamic banners hang behind them, no statistical investigations are needed. How can something so simple be so incomprehensible to you? Do you just spout that statement about causation because you think it makes you sound smart?

And what about imperialism and resource discovery? According to your logic, if you're occupied for a bit, you turn into a terrorist for a century. You find oil in your country, it's terrorism time. Since I'm not sure that's true, why would I argue for that position? I don't know enough to separate out the effects of religion, other aspects of Middle-Eastern culture, family issues, personal demons, etc. to make such a claim. I'm not sure anyone does.

In regards to Hitler not only was it his personal secretory Martin Bormann himself but all of close advisers and personal letters state this. It is all in a book which is the largest collection of Hitlers personal letters and conversations called "Hitlers Table Talk." Hostility toward clerics is not the same as hostility towards religion, or being an atheist. For example, the wiki article does not mention atheism at all.
