Breaking Bad (thread will have *spoilers*)

But he just took a half measure. We all know what happens with half measures on this show.

Silas' girlfriend. Unceremoniously sent to some kind of camp or boarding school far away in episode two or three.

You mean the deaf girl who was really good at giving blow jobs?

No that was later. A significant part of the pilot is devoted to Silas and his girlfriend. I think this girl was also the daughter of Celia (a former major character who is also long since abandoned).

EDIT: IMDB confirms the jettisoned girlfriend is also a jettisoned child of another major character. Apparently played by Haley Hudson, who hasn't done much since.

Seriously, the pilot looks like an entirely different show.

It's been so long I don't even remember.

It hit me today that Jesse Pinkman looks like a sketchier, meaner, dirtier version of Justin Timberlake.

FAT STACKS, BETCH!

Just watched episode 3. I have to admit that episode 2 left me wondering why Mike climbed back into bed with those guys at all, but since that question's now been answered, I feel like I'm really on board. I like the direction they're going, even though it's a bit obvious (Walt turning into Gus). Love their new cook location, and love that Mike has an even larger role, because who doesn't love Mike?

I'm thinking next episode we'll see a lot more Hank. He wasn't in episode 3 at all, and episode 2 hinted that he's started to suspect Walt, so I think we're due.

The bug-bomb operation is silly. Good television, but doesn't really flow with the show. However, Walt is getting a little careless, so I guess it works.

What in the world is he gonna do with these women? Skyler's sister is 10x crazier than she is, crazy enough that she might be down with things if she were to find out. Who knows what's in her head? Skyler is just sane enough to do something really stupid. She's way too evil to be trusted.

The Badassness of Walt continues to develop, and it is gonna get him in trouble.Gus needed him for obvious reasons. Mike does not need him for ish.

Great episode...

I do have a blank if anybody can fill it in:

The lil' poisoned mexi-kid is the spawn of Satan (the mexi-hit-twins), correct? Did we know that before last night? That's creepy.

I didn't notice this when I originally saw it but thought it was quite funny after reading a review of the new episode...the fly returned in this episode. There was that stupid fly episode in whatever season, and the fly returned, a nice little image for the viewers that are diehards. That fly episode was one of the worst episodes of any show of all time.

So...was Walt's reminiscing of Gus killing Victor a threat directed at Jesse or was it Walt worrying about Mike?
