What's new

Bucks at Jazz: 7pm MT

Yeah, there's probably 20 - 30 guys in the league who can be stars but there's only like 5 - 8 guys who are superstars. LeBron, Durant, Curry, Harden, Giannis, etc would be superstars due to the way they impact their teams in a number of different ways, have transcendent abilities on the floor (e.g. Curry's shooting) and can carry any so-so team on a night to night basis, but guys like Lillard, Griffin, Butler would just be stars as while they can put up games which are superstar level they can't do it consistently enough, or they have a significant flaw which can be exploited.

Mitchell at the start of the season wasn't really at a star level but he has been a star in 2019, and tonight he was absolutely a superstar player. Gobert is the guy who's been the star all season long and now that Mitchell is there with him the Jazz look like a top 4 team in the West again.
Great explanation. Very well put. Then thee just insults you lol

Chances Rubio comes off the bench next game?
Why on Earth would they do that?

Rubio didn't play much this game because it was his first game back from injury and the Bucks were playing no guards.

He was still pretty key in the win with his two 3's to build the first huge run.

Maybe he blows up next year, idk, but I do know the Jazz can easily sign Mirotic without giving up anything
Why can they easily sign him without giving up anything? Is therev some weird NBA clause that says the jazz are the only team mirotic can sign with in this coming off season?

They offer him money and he signs. He isn't a marquee name and he has expressed interest in Utah. Don't be daft on the subject. If Utah treats him as a priority it shouldn't be difficult.

Because the team has looked their best this season with the ball in Mitchell’s hands to initiate more.

Ingles too.

Rubio did play well last night, had the exact spark I’d want from a 20 minute bench guard.
