Bug Reports

Still having this issue and its driving me nuts.

As far as I can tell, when you log on, it gives you about 10-20 minutes, then it marks everything read that was posted before you logged on.

I've no idea how to change this setting, but I agree that it's not optimal.

Is there anyway to get rid of the Big-O ad? It is STILL f'ing up my screen. When its rotation comes around, I can't click on the Jazz forum because it blocks it off, even without rolling over it.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Definitely not optimus primus. I guess this post was more about me not going crazy than anything...if Jason can get around to fixing it great.

Do a few searches for bridesmaids dresses, honeymoons destinations and stuff like that - - ever since we did a bunch of searches for formal dresses and cruises, my banner ads have been a lot of dress shops (Talbots in particular) and ads for Viking River Cruises - - and they're pretty benign without annoying pop-ups and roll-overs

This is assuming you've let your browser sit idle for that timeframe, right? Essentially making the website think you've left and are done?

This is a sticky scenario where I don't want it telling me what I've read after a timeout but I also don't want to click a button saying to 'mark all read' either. Other thoughts?

I want threads to remain "unread" until I've clicked on them. That makes the most sense to me. I mean, once I've clicked on a specific thread, then all bets are off and it should show as "read"...whether I've actually perused the thread or not.

Is the site currently set up the way Colton explained it?

Who cares if it reads read or not? I'm not being my typically sarcastic self either. I'm simply wondering why it really matters. Don't you know whether you've read particular threads or not?

Because then I lose the functionality of the "read first new post" option.
