babe, you sound like a day release. Crazier than a **** house rat. But it's sort of endearing. Keep doing you, man.
I'm sure this isn't news to you.... sure there's somebody who tried to explain it to you. A lot of people have looked at the Finicum shooting videos and see it as he had no gun, he had his hands up, he was shot in the lower abdomen and reflexively reached at the wound. He was also shot from behind. A lot of folks call it murder. Does "Hands Up Don't Shoot" mean anything to you????
The wrongful death lawsuit is going forward.
LOLMan that one dude was murdered. Plan and simple. At most they should have tranquilized him or used some other non lethal means.
I'm on the fence about how I should feel about this. Half of me feels they got let off the hook and the situation was idiotic. The other half of me feels bad, sorry for them and their situation. It's been a while since I've read up on them, but the stories I read were absolutely bizarre and disgusting bullying from the government. Especially the son and dad case in Oregon.A death entirely avoidable. Him running the check point was dangerously idiotic. Also I watched the video of his death numerous times and have my questions to be sure but he acted foolishly and it led to his own death. Just like we see in so many other police shootings. Fighting and running is not the answer.
If you feel your rights are being violated, fine. Ok. Get a lawyer and sue the hell out of them. People win cases like that all the time. But fighting and/or running usually leads to gun fire.
That presents its own problem to be sure but don't kick a snake and then be surprised you got bit.
He was, dude. Read up on it. Baited.

The tarp guy who got shot dead was extremely sad to me. He was a great guy and in my opinion, was completely baited and his death was avoidable not only from him, but by the feds.
This is a short video of the person witness account of what happened. There is a longer, way more in depth one on youtube that goes over the POV of the LaVoy and the other passengers in the car the day he was wacked. It's crazy to me.

Yep. I know it sounds really sketchy when you put it like that, but in context of what was going on, what they were fighting for and how he was baited, I feel completely fine being on the fence about it.You're on the fence about an armed man, who was a leader of a terrorist organization illegally occupying a federal building, and who claimed in an interview when asked if he would rather be arrested or killed in a standoff that "I have no intention of spending any of my days in a concrete box."? A guy who reached for a gun in his pocket, after a high speed chase with police, and came out daring them to shoot him and then reached for his gun?
What fence is there to sit on here?
