You think Trump would’ve pardoned a group of blacks, Latinos, or Muslims had they done the exact same thing?
Because race is causally involved in how justice is dispensed in this country.

I don't know Thriller, I haven't thought about that. I don't know what to expect from Trump and sadly I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. The point is that I don't see why you have to bring up the race issue on half of your posts. Sometimes you make it sound like being conservative, libertarian, right-minded or what not directly implies bringing some form of racism with it.
dunno....... Thriller sometimes strikes me as the guy with a membership in some NGO or other paid schill outfit where he gets daily talkin' points suggested. It's my opinion that Obama, Hillary, Oprah, Soros, Gates, et al...... the kinda folks who can get invites from a David Rockefeller (the good guys of world management)..... pay the freight for a bunch of NGOs and activist groups, essentially hiring some idealistic dreamers, to push ideas they think will help.
Obama and Hillary are still out there on the scent, dreamin' of a comeback, fantasizing about getting Americans to get back on their little bandwagon, and they have found this shiny little tool, see, called claiming the mantle of MLK while using race-baiting as a great social cause.
Not a lot of social causes out there you can really work up to make headlines. Racism is one of the best. Kids in cages might be even better, if you can contrive to get a pic showing one.... hey, here's one from 2014.... let's go.... run with it.
I think even innocent escapees from socialist dreamlands might get tired pretty quick of being yanked on stupid lies, really.
But hey, Venezuela and some other countries goin' down the drain, there's an infinite supply of refugees.
Brazil is goin' under too. The Red Chinese, under the globalist mantra, have sent millions of Chinese immigrants to Brazil and pretty much run the guvmint there now. Ya got Chinese "no-go zones" for hell's sake, where Brazilians can't get past the checkpoints. The Chinese settlers work for the Chinese guvmint, get better wages than in China, and are easily the most law-abiding, peaceful, non-violent and productive worker bees on the planet. Brazilian home rule has the choice of protecting them, or just starving.
A lot of starvation is goin' on down there, and it's not just Brazil. The Chinese resettlement plan is being effectively implemented in some African countries, too, where the natives are just starvin' too. It's the greatest under-the-radar social cause our schill Press has ever not commented on.
We're takin in the violent refugees, China is repopulating the third world with worker bees. We're throwing our ranchers in the hoosgaw and callin' them rednecks for believing they should have human rights.
Thriller and OB are obsessing about blacks in this country. Not that our guvmint and legal system doesn't manage them kinda rough. Not that they don't rightly feel like second-class citizens seein' how we're givin stuff to the latinos free.... but because if ya kick tha kinks just enough, they'll turn out an' demonstrate and burn some businesses and you can use the news pretty good to cow the whiteys into sayin' nuthin- compliance, too. That's not my thinkin', folks.... that's the thinkin of the real racists like Obama, Hillary, Gates, and whoever the hell is running the Rockefeller world management front.

Globalism on steroids, thinnin' the herd and replacing problematic humans with a manageable strain of humans. A great war in the middle east would help, too, don't ya think???? We can pump up those Ismaelites and get'em ta throw bombs and drive rental trucks into the malls and curl the Christians up in pure panic. The arabs who don't die in the Great War will be modern secularists on birth control at last.
World Management is a necessary thing. Some of the big brains see that pretty clearly. Sure, there's some things that might not look just right, if the news gets out somehow with a wrong slant, but it is still a necessary thing. Of course, there's really no God, and no great Evil.... but if evil does exists somehow philosophically, even if we can't just call it good and move on with "Good Management", "Good Management" would still be the necessary and unavoidable evil.
The fundamental problem, philosophically, with being a modern secularist or progressive, is how to deal with the news. How to keep the news "good". How to keep people in the harness, pulling the load.
The racist, fascist management thinks the way to do that, is with the schill Press, and public education/social conditioning.
OB, the racism you should deal with is the racism at the highest levels of our "Management Team". You're just playin' their tune tryin' to re-educate the little folks.
Human liberty has had a few notable, exceptional, moments in human history I suppose, but today we're closer to universal slavery than universal suffrage.

You should probably think about race and how Justice is applied (or not applied) because of it before commenting (and criticizing my posts) further.
Unequal justice because of the race these criminals is what I’m unhappy about. Had minorities committed the same acts they either would’ve been killed or imprisoned for much longer.
Don’t respond until you’ve thought this issue through. Honestly, don’t respond if you don’t care about having informed discussion about social justice with me.

If you're in here decrying institutional racism in America, you should study the history of how the issue has been exploited by the real bigtime racists who have the power over us all. It's not good enough to claim to be a historian unless you're willin' to study beyond the curriculum requirements.... unless you know more than what is in the little system tests that are designed to make "history teachers" effective propagandists for Management.

These ranchers were heroes of the decades long Sagebrush Rebellion, as were the Bundy's, and the occupiers of the wildlife refuge.
Trump has shown obvious affinity for the philosophy at the heart of this movement. It's proponents are a part of his base. His Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke, shows obvious affinity toward that movement as well. We only have to look at the removal of National Monument status for large portions of two huge tracts of land in southern Utah. For Trump, I'm sure shrinking the size of those monuments was also part of his effort to reduce or eliminate Obama's legacy, but these ranchers, the events involving the Bundy's, the occupation of the refuge, and now this pardon, are chapters of that land control movement, and the pardon is a nod by Trump to that element in his base.
So, I think it's not a question of whether a black, Latino, or Muslim would be treated differently if they had done the same thing, but rather how many blacks, Latinos, or Muslims are ranchers in eastern Oregon, and how many would be members of the decades long Sagebrush Rebellion? I don't know the demographics here, but I am guessing the answer is none. So I don't think race enters the equation in this situation, because it would not likely ever occur in this particular context. Except to acknowledge the Sagebrush Rebellion is likely dominated by white people where it is centered.
