Burks will be Rookie of the year if there is a season at all this year. I just want to go on record calling this prediction (i think i should get +100 rep points if i'm right lol jk :) ) seriously though! His game will tranlate in the NBA. also, his style mirrors Wade's a lot. Can anyone come up with a better comparison. here is a link to David Locke'sscouting report of burks

If you want to wager rep, then you should get neg repped if you're wrong. But I'm down.
 
should begging for reps be worth a negative rep?

I usually rip people apart for making emotional claims. But my main argument is that rookies don't get enough minutes on the Jazz to be conisdered for ROY.

Well... all of a sudden we are a lottery team, we have a new coach and Burks only has to outplay Raja Bell to get the starting position (unless we go really big and have Millsap, AK, and CJ take care of all the 3 minutes and Hayward goes to 2.)

So if the Jazz don't bring in another 2 guard, maybe Burks could see 25 minutes a night.

I don't see Utah bringing in another 2 guard. This season is toast. If/when games start up again, Utah is still a young team with no practice time. We are going to be awful this year. There might be flashes of good, but there will be a lot of sloppy play, turnovers, bad defense, etc. This season will be Carolina's nightmare. So, why bring in another 2 guard. Throw Burks out there and let him learn and get some bumps and bruises. See what this kid has. Then Utah gets another lottery pick or two, and bam, we have our foundation. Get rid of Memo, bring in a good vet or two and we are the new OKC.
 
I am hoping that the season is condensed and they try and squeeze as many games in as possible. That really will allow for our young and hopefully energetic players to get more time.
