My stupid mortgage company sent my funds to the wrong place! Now I'm sitting here with a completely packed truck, empty house and I'll probably end up in a hotel tonight! Probably won't get my keys till tomorrow! Damnit.

In a good hotel. Kids are passed out cold and I pick up my keys in the morning. I got them new outfits and bought a DVD player and a movie. They think it's a cool mini vacation before the new house.

I think you should ask the mortgage company to cover your expenses. They make enough $ on a home closing, they shouldn't balk at it due to the inconvenience. And if they don't send TheThriller to take a dump in their bathroom. The cost in TP alone will make them regret not taking care of you, and don't get me started on the smell.

My best advice, Start throwing **** away today and do it often.
When we rented my wife would be like "That's cute but I don't really need it". Something changed after we bought a home. It's like she got her own personal vault that she seems to think is infinite in size. Now she'll come home and say "Look what I found at a yard sale, it was only a dollar. Isn't it cute?" I'll say "yeah, that's interesting. I like it." but in my head I'm thinking "I guess I'll put it in the attic. I wonder how long it will be until I am allowed to take it to the DI."
What's worse is that as much as it drives me nuts, I find myself doing it! A couple of years ago there was a solar eclipse. I made a solar viewer out of a cardboard tube and duct tape. It's still in my attic. smh
