He made the nuggets teams better, that isn't an argument. He was a very good player. He can still be a very good player if he buys into a team concept. I don't know if that's impossible because OKC doesnt really run offense because of Westbrook.

I think a trade that makes sense is Favors to Cleveland for Frye (expiring), Osman (young Euro wing on an affordable 4 year deal) and their 2018 1st.

I'm pretty sure they can trade their first even though Atlanta owns their 2019 pick because they have Brooklyn's 1st this year.

Melo is too old. we're not going anywhere this season, and he doesn't fit in any kind of timeline for the future.

I mean, Joe Johnson was old af last year and he was great for us. Theoretically Melo could do the same things, but way better, if he wanted to.

We were a deep playoffs team last year. We're fighting for the 8th spot this year. Getting Melo to solidify the 8th spot is irrelevant to me.

We are in about the same spot this year as we were last year at this time.

This. No Melo. If we moved for Melo we would be staking a very strong claim to mediocrity for the next several years, maybe longer.
