Cavs vs Warriors Game 2

I hate how Durrant going to the Warriors ruined this season. I truly hope they break up.
Makes you wonder if you were an owner and you start to see your profits going down the next few seasons, just what will the owners will demand. For 1 they have to include a franchise tag and eliminate max contracts.
The future is going to be interesting.

How did it ruin the season? This was likely to be the outcome even without Durant.

I think it might ruin the next few seasons when it all becomes repeated over and over, but this season has been fun. The utter dominance of the Warriors has been breathtaking.

Owners wont see profits taking any major hits the next years. Most teams are locked into TV deals already. If anything they will get more money because a handful of teams are starting to pay insane amounts of LT. The NBA was at it's peak viewership when MJ was dominating the league. Casual fans enjoy dominance, not parity. It only really becomes an issue if there isnt some kind of noteworthy antagonist to challenge them. Lebron is always going to be there though (at least for the next handful of years), and that will be enough to drive ratings.

Chemistry would be terrible. No rebounding.. Please.

I dont think you can have a lineup with Lebron and have bad chemistry. I dont see anyone on that team having an ego too big to not concede to Lebron being the all powerful leader and making it work.

Season was great but the playoffs have been unwatchable in many ways and FAR too one-sided.

NVM, Lebron signed a 3 year deal with the 3rd year being a player option. For some reason I thought he had just been signing 2 year deals with an opt out every year. My musings have been pointless.

This is on Lebron a little. Why did he stop going at the rim after halftime?? He has a history of doing things like this... For someone with such high bball IQ it doesn't make much sense.
Lebron was awesome though.
Warriors are too good

Like I said, he created the roster... Kyrie is letting him down though.

Right now their biggest concern is stopping KD, so as the "best player in the world" and his opposing SF he NEEDS to take on that responsibility.
He didn't create the roster though.

Kyrie was drafted while lebron was in Miami iirc. Maybe Tristan Thompson too.

Lebron signs with Boston.

Boston unloads Fultz and the 2018 pick for Davis.
Is bostons supporting cast (crowder, thomas, bradley, horford) much better than the cavs? (Kyrie, jr, love, thompson, shumpert, ect)

I disagree.
I don't think they would have swept everyone and probably wouldn't have blown out the cavs.
Durant has been pretty good for the warriors I think. (Haven't looked up his numbers but he seems like he has done pretty well. )

Warrior didn't sweep everyone last year and win the title iirc.

I think they are better suited to beat the Warriors (if they could add Lebron, Lebron isnt a FA as I thought tho).
