Hell, I have stopped attending many events entirely because I know how many guns are in America and how angry and divided people are over politics.

I see elementary age kids argue about politics. That didn't happen in the past. trump has not only made the country more angry and divided but simply more political. I never knew anything about politics pre trump. I never even voted before 2016 (I'm almost 50 years old).
trump isn't in everyone's faces for 2 days and everyone thinks he is dead. I think we are better off with a less public president.

I won't go to fairs anymore. There is always a shooting. I wanted to go to a protest but wouldn't go. There was a shooting. I tend to avoid concerts now.
Going to a public event that has a lot of people at it is always dangerous even if the event is non political. We live in america.

But a big public gathering called prove me wrong that is intended to encourage anger and arguments is definitely a place I would never go.

“Trump gets hit in the ear, Charlie [Kirk] gets shot dead,” Watters said. He went on to add, “Think about it... it’s happening. You’ve got trans shooters, you’ve got riots in L.A. They are at war with us, whether we want to accept it or, they are at war with us. And what are we going to do about it? How much political violence are we going to tolerate? And that’s the question we are going to have to ask ourselves.”

Watters called out those on the left, saying “everybody’s accountable.”
“We are sick. We are sad. We are angry. And we are resolute,” he said. “And we are going to avenge Charlie’s death in the way that Charlie wanted to be avenged.”

“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” President Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social account. Shortly after, the Associated Press confirmed news of his passing.

“Now, Charlie would want us to put as much pressure on these people as possible,” Watters said.
