Charlottesville

The most enjoyable part of this thread is watching our resident village idiot DutchJazzer twist himself into knots trying to find a way to 'white wash' this.

how am i white washing it. the organizers started somehting and some nazi(natyional sozialist) showed up. because the media is lying to them for years that nazi is right wing! so some extremist show up. now the whole movement is extremist.

i believe that freedom of speech is absolute.

you have the right to fly a nazi flag, as long as you do not physically hurt somebody, or steal money for socialized healthcare!
even though i am the last person to agree with national sozialist.

but if the government starts to decide nazi speech and nazi flags are banned. soon they decide more and more and more and more stuff is considered hate speech!

hate speech is not universal.
to me a nazi flag is offesnive, maybe to you. but not to everyone. if you punch someone it hurts everyone!
we can only make things illegal that are universal and infringe on everyone!

as long as the nazi flag wavers just wave their flags. without pushing people in ovens, and start taxing people for universal healthcare, and forcing everyone into unions. i am ok with them having their rigths

i do not agree with what they are saying, but i stand by their freedom to do so!

some of you leftist might not get that, because freedom of speech never works with socialism and communism. because even your mouth and property belongs to the state

Dutch equating neo-Nazis in the U.S. with socialists is funny.

Kessler's no saint. It's as short sited as you're gonna get to say Kessler wanted to do one thing, and other groups "just so happened to show up".

But that's DutchRudder's Schtick.

That's the Nazipalooza line - that because Nazi was a contraction of National Socialist, therefore fascist=socialist.

This disregards the actual definition of fascist and the fact that fascism is a type of government and not an economic system.

fasicm according to it's creator benito muselina. is socialism, with added twist of strong military force, and foreign interventioon!

But dutch is saying that because in WWII Germany Nazis identified as national socialists that they would not be at a Unite the Right rally because socialists are leftists.

In the U.S. neo-Nazis absolutely lean right.

jus tlike how the world leis to us now that hitler is right wing?

There is no civil war potential. The military is too strong/large.

In the event of civil war I'd expect the military to be split. Also National guard would mostly follow their individual states.

I think a "cold" civil war is much more likely and one could argue that it's already begun.

I'm not worried about open hostilities and fighting.
