Gobert over Donovan, you have to be kidding.
I don't think you're far from the truth here. I get a weird feeling we aren't far from Don's peak. He seems to get tunnelvision and isn't showing the creativity he did his rookie year. I think his skill-set isn't sufficient to overcome the put-your-head-down attitude to get to the rim, and it's very arguable whether he does much to make his teammates better. But I think bringing in Conley actually stunted his development some as I think he is much better suited, and we play better as a team, to him being a PG but we keep trying to shoe-horn him into the SG spot.I think Donovan might be too small, defenses have focused in on him and kinda locked him down, this mixed with hero ball and off nights more consistent as of late have me worried that he might have peaked, so yes maybe CJ on Portland like or worse? I hope I'm wrong but I don't think he will be as good as Dame or Wade.

Yeah there’s zero chance he opts out with how the cap is about to go lol. Don’t you remember Donovan at the beginning of this season? He was incredible, he has began to take that next step. I agree his decision making needs some improvement and I fully support moving him to PG once Mike is gone. He’s going to be incredible.I agree, Conley has damaged our individual players contributions and strengths while also negatively impacting our team morale and chemistry. Regardless though I think Donovan has looked very frustrated, made foolish decisions with the ball has shot us out of games and has even rid the pine because he has been more off than on. I thought it was a slump at first but now think otherwise.
On a side not I hope Conley opts out, so we can more forward with our progress. That experiment failed miserably
“Bashing” they’re having an opinion. You’re too sensitive. You guys bashing Donovan...
Yeah, he is really struggling scoring almost 25ppg 4apg and 4rpg without even finishing his 3rd season yet. And oh yeah, he already led us to a postseason series win over 3 hall of famers while Gobert was getting outplayed by Steven Adams and Derrick Favors.
Gobert is an asset, but he isn't a star. A star can take over a playoff series. Donovan has already proven to have the star qualities.

If there were two players coming out of college do you take the safer pick and go with the guy who looks to be one of the best defensive players in the league or swing for the fences and pick the riskier pick who could end up being one of the best overall players in the league?

They are creating issues and weaknesses that don't exist just to find a way to support Rudy. It's more comical than upsetting.“Bashing” they’re having an opinion. You’re too sensitive.
Donovan is a theater kid obsessed with being the hero and being liked by everyone. I’m happy to have him, but I care less about winning (which Rudy is more important for anyway) than I do about having a team I like, and I am really ****ing souring on his dumb ***. Rudy is real, Donovan is fake.
Both are very important to winning. I also don’t think we know these things. He wants to prop himself up as a hero yes, but that’s kind of his role in the community we want isn’t it? I do care about what Donovan can mean to our community going forward as more than just a basketball player. I’m not saying Rudy doesn’t do it but Donovan makes a conscious effort to be involved. Donovan talks about David Wright a lot as someone he looked up to growing up and how involved he was. I’m not saying it’s not partly for publicity but he doesn’t have to do it.Donovan is a theater kid obsessed with being the hero and being liked by everyone. I think he’s a little of both, which is fine. You have to be. But agreed I’ve yet to see anyone who’s been around him or knows him rip him for being fake.Mostly sums up how I feel other than Donovan being fake. I do think he is legitimately the way he is.
