This isn't a guy who's returning after blowing out both of his knees. People hear "medical issues" and see that he's missed almost two seasons and think of every other guy who's had injuries or orthopedic issues and missed time but never returns. This isn't that. So long as he's cleared to play, his performance will be just fine (minus the rust).
Yeah, this is just a case where if he got injured in a game, he could bleed out internally and die.
No big deal.
Dude has had blood clot issues, and the medicine he takes puts him at risk if he's injured because his blood won't clot. I doubt any team is going to take the risk of helping kill this guy. Killing guy's is bad PR.
It's not like the Jazz need any more health issues, but they could use some help at PF. With him now officially separated from the Heat he is available.
Is he worth the gamble?
Let him die on another team, but in all seriousness... Do u think that if his health issues weren't a concern, he'd be playing? Heat could've used him. Hell no to signing Bosh.
He'll sign a minimum contract with the Warriors or Cavs. It's what every player does now.
