Clayton or Collier?

I've been a big fan of how Collier has handled himself throughout that year and how he fought for and won the starting job, but unless he massively improves his shooting, I feel like Walt is a much more seamless fit with ... any team really. His on-ball game is already plenty impressive, but what has been really fantastic in the SL so far has been his movement without the ball. I feel like as long as he's not a horrendous defender, he will win the starting job at some point during this coming season.

Yeah, and Collier has to become an amazing defender to beat out Clayton, and I'm not seeing that in SL. I dont see much difference between Clayton/Collier on defense. I actually think Clayton has been better.

Hopefully good news but anytime a player goes out with a hamstring we hear optimism then BAM! how many hammy's have wrecked Jazz players over the years by coming back too early? Can't remember specifics but it seems like we've been through quite a few.

any of y'all played an intense sport after a long time off? You always feel it in your hamstrings.

Resting someone for hamstring soreness in summer league is different than in-season. Let's give things some time before we jump to conclusions

It happens; so I'm hoping.

It happens regularly for guards between year 2 and 3. Locke seems to be really high on him still, but guess we'll see.

I expect him to get better, but Im not holding out hope his defense becomes starter quality level.

I think Hardy has a great setup to tell these two players that whoever plays the most energetic defense will win more minutes. I think both have different offensive strengths that could make our offense work well….but defensive impact will be the real differentiator.

I think he is going to have a break out year.
In fact, hot take incoming, I think he is going to play at a near all star level this season (offensively)
