Given that he played about eight minutes in regulation and matched Favors in scoring I don't think him being back was the problem. Not letting him actually BE back was a problem, though.

I really hope next season doesn't have anywhere near the same amount of frustrating, gut-punch losses. In '07 I think we got beat by buzzer beaters on four separate occasions and even that wasn't as bad as this season has been.

Our average point differential is typical of a 45-34 team and we're 6 games below that because of all the close losses. Ugh.

I think Burks would have made a big difference in many close losses.

He was missed.

A win would have put us in the post season for the first time in six years. We lost, embarrassing so, and still haven't been to the post season this century (16 years and counting).

Favors and Hayward have been to the playoffs before. They are not excused. Sometimes there just isn't a winning mentality.

Ouch man. (Your point about Hayward and Favors doesn't hold much water but your Bills story is tragic and painful.)
