For those of us not following the G League, any explanation on why he’s only played 2 games with the Stars?

Not sure if it's the right answer but my answer would be because we are tanking. Him sucking on the varsity team is helping the team achieve their goals.

Well with no playoff season for Jazz Cody will have a long off season to get ready for next season

He played more than that. You are probably just looking at one portion of the G-League season stats. They split them up weird.

He’s underutilized, if that’s the case.

Oh geez, I didn’t realize he was getting 21 mpg. My perception of his mpg was biased by roughly knowing his raw averages.

My guess is that the coaches want to give him the visceral experience of getting bodied night in and night out to then see how he responds.

Nah, he crossed up Pritchard pretty well there. This play also happened after Cody grabbed a rebound and dribbled the length of the floor.
