As a Ute fan I can safely say the local team who played the best game (Utah St.) lost.
That's what happens when you play on the road against a real team. AND totally just **** the bed the last three minutes.

Boise St looks real good.
LSU's defense is scary good. If their QB can play Trent Dilfer like by not screwing things up, they'll be in the NC game this year.

I still think Alabama has more potential, but LSU is my early favorite as BCS champs.
Maybe.
I didn't see Alabama play. Maybe if I had seen them, I'd be clamoring about how great Bama's defense looked.
I did see LSU, and that team looked like they were in mid-season form already. They're so quick to the ball, they're going to injure some QBs this year.
They tore Oregon up. I also have a gut feeling that this LSU team is for real now that they're going with Trent Dilfer instead of JaMarcus Russel. I think they have the motivation to prove their critics wrong. I'm not sure if Alabama has the experience to beat them. We'll see.
LSU has to go on the road against Alabama. That could be epic.
My only problem with LSU, especially if Jarret Lee is going to start all year, is if they get behind early.
