Wasn't this guy a communist? His favorite books were Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf. Kinda conflicting, eh?

After reading some of the stupidity posted in this thread you would seriously think that some people believed that.

Uh? I was being serious. Why do you hate America?
Have you ever applied for a green card? Yeah, that's what I thought.
Im not sure what your trying to insinuate. Again, I ask you, why do you hate the country you live in?
before they ran off and said that all Muslims were evil?
When would that ever be a viable position?Surely said:before they ran off and said that all Muslims were evil?
Sorry, I thought you were being sarcastic. I don't hate America. I actually quite enjoy living here. What I can't stand are people who refuse to wait before all the facts are known to start using a tragedy to further their point of view. Wasn't it just a year or so ago at the Fort Hood shootings where everyone was urged to keep a level head and wait for all the facts to come out before they ran off and said that all Muslims were evil? So why is the Tea Party getting blasted for what some insane person did? Where is the call for keeping a level head and waiting for the facts?
A few issues here. There are probably very few conspiracy theories that are totally true. Some events are unanswerable and conspiracy theories fill in the answers that people need to reconcile randomness. Those who readily consume conspiracy theories want to and need to psychologically. They are like addictions. Once you buy into one, it is easier to buy into the second. Most people who believe one theory, believe most.
