Conley could miss multiple weeks with hamstring injury

Besides Giannis, you think Harden would become the MVP that he is today has he stayed with OKC and not given the primary ball handling role alongside Westbrook? As good as Luka has been this season, It did take a bit for the Mavs to figure out what role he needs to play (a ball handling guard as opposed to a wing) last season and when they did, they got rid of all the players that they deemed to be either surplus or simply impeding Luka's development.

And as for the Jazz, instead of helping our players to play the best basketball they possible can, our management is doing the exact opposite right now by bringing in pieces that don't fit and asking the players to simply do things they aren't capable of doing.

I didn't read hardly any of this trash thread so I'll just post a question. Am I the only one who thinks we'll be better off with Conley sitting? I guess time will tell but I've felt like the team plays better team ball when he is out. We seem to pass more, get more folks involved, find better shots. Meh just a few games but it seems that way anyway.
We are best with DM having the ball and Royce as his backcourt partner. All we lack is a starting PF because Royce/Bojan/Jeff/Niang isn't one.

Hill is capable of filling the offball role. Conley isn't

Brogden would have been nice though I was all about getting Beverley here. I think he would have come here had we outbid the Clippers (13M a season). We could have signed him and others instead of the Conley contract.

But we're where we are now so we're stuck. An off-the-ball PG should have been obvious to the front office after the success we had with Hill (minus his injuries and questionable attitude - but when he played the team looked good and the offense ran well, and our talent/weapons then isn't as solid as it is presently) as well as Rubio not working out.

We need good Conley. That was a huge part of what was exciting coming into the season. If we get the Conley we've had so far this year we're kind of ****ed.

Hence why I think we're better off without him.

With Conley, DM and Bogie on the floor together as the 1, 2 and 3 the Jazz are elite offensively.

Without Conley the offensive drop-off is significant.

So while his individual stats are underwhelming, the result of replacing him with another player as far as the team is concerned has been much worse.

Do the people who think we'll be better off with Conley not playing not realize how bad our bench guy's are? We have been really good with any 5 of our top 6 guy's on the floor together but we've been awful with our 7-10 guys on the floor. Conley being hurt means that we're now down to just 5 good players and guy's like mudiay, Niang and Green are going to have to play more minutes.

You don't break up a team that's won 15 out of 20 games, destroyed most opponents, averaging close to 30 assists and shooting over 50% most of those games!

What about a team that loses 4 out of 5 games and can’t throw a ball in the ocean?
