Conley could miss multiple weeks with hamstring injury

This just sucks. It's an uphill battle even when healthy because we only have 6 good players on this roster, you take one of those guy's out for multiple weeks and it's gonna be really difficult. The starters are going to have to go close to 40 minutes some nights to give us a chance to win, which is going to wear them down. I guess the bright side is we have an easy schedule the next few weeks.
Kind of. But you really really need to win those games when they’re easy. Going to be much more difficult now. DAMMIT!!!!!

The Jazz angered the basketball gods and are suffering their just wrath and judgement.

Would it be irony or justice if the jazz miss the playoffs but Phoenix sneaks in?
We’d easily be on a losing streak if DM/Bojan stop combing for over 50 points or Rudy stop grabbing over 15 boards a night. People failed to appreciate how much those three guys have been carrying this starting lineup or even the entire team.

This ain’t happening. In the grand scheme of things this is fine if he’s healthy for the playoffs. We won’t be anything less than the #6 seed and likely avoid the LA teams in the first round... we can beat Denver, Houston, or Dallas... I said can, not will... would still have to play well and be healthy at playoff time.

Just sucks that this hasn’t worked out at all.

OKC would ask for picks. Jazz have no more picks to give, the future is already mortgaged. But it would be totally the most Dennis Lindsey thing to do to trade more first round picks for another pg.
*another 1-2 season rental of a PG

Don't think it'd cost that. Sure if it's a 2nd or something then whatever.

Dennis has made a habit of getting worked on trades though.

This is how every team is with their best players yes.
Not the case with Indiana or Toronto. Both would beat us handily in a 7 game series right now without their best player in Oladipo or Lowry. Because of better management.

Justice for what? Trying to upgrade the roster and improve the team? Look, it sucks that the trade hasn't worked out so far but I don't blame Lindsey and Zanik at all for pulling the trigger on it. Conley has been a far superior player to Rubio throughout his entire career. Even this year Rubio is only shooting 38% from the field and 29% from 3 and has also missed a few games with injury. He does some good things on the court but he also has some serious flaws. There's also a very good chance Bogey wouldn't be on the Jazz right now if Rubio was still the point guard.

Freaking play Dante already, even if only to give Donovan some rest. It's overdue

Not going to happen, Quin seems to be going with a smaller rotation currently with majority of bench DNP.

Unless Mudiay also picks up an injury I'd expect rotations to remain consistent with what we've seen in the last couple weeks Conley was out, only problem is the last few wins have been against trash teams so not sure if this is good or bad.
