My last post literally seconds before Avery posted news of the trade:

"The more I think about it the more I think he's the best fit of any player available that might come to us. We need someone who can jibe with Donovan and he'd be amazing. I think if Conley comes here we will be successful and he'll be back for his second year."

Wow. Stoked about getting Conley but sad to see Crowder go. Grayson definitely has upside but too small a sample size to be sure. I bet Korver was going to retire anyway.

Still need more shooting. Hopefully more to come.

The real question is - if we were willing to give up 2 1sts now, why the hell didn't we do it at the trade deadline? This is such BS. We wasted Conley's best playoff run and half of his value just to give up even more value for him now. WTF DL?

Yep. This sucks.

So much for free agency, the draft this year and the draft next year. Way to have faith in what could happen DL.
Uh, we just acquired a proven third star. I guess Favors is next on the trade market. We still need help in the frontcourt.

From now on, our picks will be in the 22-30 range. Not worth a lot. Bummer for Allen, he looked like a decent role player. But hey, you have to give up something of value.

Because of exum but now they have their guy in the draft.

Exactly. The Conley trade was brilliant at the deadline. Now, especially for Crowder too, is just stupid.

what a waste of a rookie year/development for grayson, i hope he kills moving forward. he was trending towards being a great offensive punch off the bench. and yet exum is somehow still here. insanity.

Expensive price, it will pay off tho. Sad to see Jae go
We added a star PG who fits our team perfectly, and the best player we lost was Jae Crowder.

Not bad IMO, the draft compensation is what stings most. But not because of the value, more because the draft is fun.
