What? Lol this whole post is horrible.
How do you figure? The protections set the table for us to give up the pick in 2022. Anything is possible. There is no guarantee that the 2022 pick is "late 20's".

We shall see I guess. I trust they know more about him then anyone. My only concern is health but none of his injuries concern me long term, just bad luck. He still has a huge ceiling.I agree they really like Exum. I think that is dumb.

Lets hope he gives us a title like the other player who refered to it as the "city of Utah" did for DallasCity of Utah... damn...
If the reported protections on that pick were true, we can kind of control our own destiny by tanking to the bottom to ensure that we get within that top 7 protection category. Something extreme would need to happen though, like Conley gets hurt. Then we will surely be the loser in the trade and everything we do will basically be cutting our losses.Rudy could also leave by then. So, we could very easily be giving up a lottery pick. This pick is definitely the most valuable asset we gave up in the trade. For those that want to see the Jazz take a risk, this is it!
Oh agree. I was bitter all season due to DL's inaction. The season just barely ended and we're making moves so it's hard for me to still be bitter.
This is a message board for fans though. I don't think the from office participates so I wasn't asking them.I think the front office has answered this a lot. Yes, they really like those players.
It would be nice to have his cap space, but he is one of the few upside players we have on the roster (another risk by the front office). For the record, I'm glad we kept Exum. I haven't given up on him yet. He has more long term value in my mind than Grayson or #23.
Everything I heard of why they didn't deal him at the deadline is because we wouldn't include exum
