On the NBA transactions page it said the Jazz renounced their restricted free agent rights to Luka. Why now? Was he in play for a sign and trade like Dunn? It seemed at season's end they couldn't be rid of him fast enough.

There is no reason to renounce until it’s needed. They needed to renounce for Flip who was signed into cap space.
