Coronavirus

I don’t understand why @Heathme thinks the media should cover the 40,000,000 unemployed more. Republicans don’t care about the 40,000,000 unemployed. Donald was cheering layoffs yesterday. He said the layoffs were “great news!”

and his son said today was a great day!

Why do Republicans think layoffs are great news? Why do republicans think today was a great day?

We've truly slipped into an Orwellian society.

All the metrics related to our handling of the virus are bad - but some are "good" because they're not as bad as others.

Crazy stuff...

The administration did do things prior to March, but the question is were they the right things. The simple data says no based on our death count.

Screenings at airports were not being done correctly back in January. In mid-March when things took off, I think most of us recall the 6-7 hour lines of people jammed together coming back in the country where random temperature checks were administered.

I thought we won the pandemic?
I thought we were transitioning to greatness?
If trump has handled this pandemic so well, why isn’t his administration releasing these numbers?

Lmao. So because Trump has taken some measures he has done a good job. You really can’t make up how dumb HeathMe is. Hey, I beat my kids and yell at them all day and don’t have any meaningful experiences with them but because I put food on the table, I’m doing a good job as a parent!

Please don’t procreate, Heath. Seriously. You’re epically dumb. Trump loves this country. He loves it so much he got deferments from Vietnam five times lmao. He loves it so much virtually every word out of his mouth is divisive and splitting a wedge between the people in this country. He loves it so much he chooses his dumb, ignorant science-defying ways to address the coronavirus, thus killing tens of thousands more than he had to. He loves it so much that he says one thing and then a week later denies having ever said it, even though it’s 2020 and there is video of him saying it, thus lying to the country’s people 24/7. I could go on and on. Listen, Biden sucks. Hilary is by all accounts a despicable human being. But this guy shouldn’t be running a kiosk in a mall let alone our country and the fact that you support him shows how stupid you are.

I'm saying the letter is written in a misleading way. What would Trump be "treated" for? He doesn't have COVID-19.

I believe they have had many conversations and this doctor and the President have agreed that hydroxycholoroquine is worth trying. That is what the letter says.

This letter does not say that Trump was prescribed or that he is taking it. It was released to prove either or both of those two things but says neither.

Look man, I'm an attorney. I read insurance documents all day, including treatment recommendations. I know a sneaky wording trick when I see one. I think this is designed to be just plausible enough to make the already converted who won't just acknowledge that Trump is a serial liar feel like they have cover to believe an obvious lie.
Fine. I think you are in the habit of applying a completely different level of scrutiny to statements made by made by conservatives vs. statements made by liberals.

I love how republicans are always the victims. No matter what. Facts or expertise be damned. They’re always playing the victim card.

Liberals had world record persecution complexes 10 years ago.

Sorry, y'all are now in a distant second.
  • Democrats were storming town halls wearing tea party garb?
  • Democrats were engaging in hyperbole by yelling at incumbents that providing health insurance to poor people and those with pre-existing conditions was socialism?
  • Democrats were the ones bitching about death panels and how the president was born in Africa facts be damned?
To understand the situation we're in right now, we need to understand that history didn't begin at Trump's inauguration. The GOP has been heading in an authoritarian post truth direction for a long time. Republicans have played the victim card for decades. It's only now being recognized by more people. Primarily, the Never Trump conservatives who are beginning to understand that racism and white victimhood have been integral parts of their party for a long time.

Who said those things?

You seriously think there is no historic victim mentality in the Dems?
