yeah i agree the florida response is bizarre ... but i've not heard Cuomo say anything other than he thinks his handling was perfect ??
 
I think that if someone who is unvaccinated by choice shows up at a hospital with covid and wants treatment that the medical staff should be like

One way you could tell that cuomo didn't think his handling was perfect is that he wasn't throwing people with covid into nursing homes in the later parts of last year right? He made a huge huge huge mistake at the beginning of the pandemic. If he thought that huge mistake was actually the correct way to do things then he probably would not have stopped doing things that way.

didn't he write a book about how ace he handled it ?? And deflected responsibility ? When even early on it was clear it affected elderly / frail people disproportionally ?

New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY) acknowledged Wednesday that an additional 12,000 COVID-19 deaths occurred during the Cuomo administration than were previously reported by the state.

I am in agreement here with you in terms of different states have different methodologies for calculating deaths and it’s quite silly.

Cuomo is the kind of skeezeball to bury that so I do applaud the new governor for being transparent, but wish we had better unified standards as I think more states have underreported numbers.
