Cuts

I believe that would be on salary paid as of the end of the season, not on the salary cap number at the end of the season. So, money paid in November to a player cut in December would still be taxed.
Per Coon's FAQ:

"When determining the amount of tax a team owes, the league uses its team salary ... on the date of their last regular season game (i.e., if a player is traded away before the end of the season, then none of his salary is taxed) ..."

We don't really lose any of our cuts UNLESS someone else signs them to their active roster. Could happen, so there is a risk, but with 12 guaranteed contracts and predictions of "the next Wesley Matthews" for Jeremy Evans , this move certainly made sense.

Hmmm, good to know. But this may not bode well for AK after they use him up for the season.

Thanks for bein helpful, there, eh, Kicky? Actually, Eric done clued me in on that little tactic, but, still...

Haha, you alright Hoopster.

Well, Dawn, I don't figure ya would be sayin that if ya only just knew what a Chompophobe I am, eh? Me and him, we just couldn't never git along right, I knows that. For a number of reasons, but here's one:

After the porn Flick "Debbie Does Dallas," made a lot of money, it was decided that a spin-off was needed for those of the homosexual persuasion. Hence the horrid "Chompsky Chews Chattanooga." I aint never seen it, and sho nuff aint plannin to, but from what I hears-tells, it's a documentary repeatedly showin ole Gnome Chompsky in all his splendiferous glory, doin what he does best.

And, believe it or not, some people actually pay money to see it. Sure, it's a capitalistic society, and chumps are there to be chumped, as they should autta be, but, still, they's a point at which sellin trash to suckers gits downright revoltin, know what I'm sayin?
