What's new

Dante has been out forever because he ded

You really said that 2003-2004 was one of the most fun seasons to watch in Jazz history since Stockton and Malone? A season which we finished as a 9th seed, not making the playoffs for the first time since 1984 ending a 20 year streak of making the playoffs. And you have been in awe for the last 15 years over that season and a point guard who in the best season of his career gave us 12 pts per game and 5 ast? He also averaged 28 minutes per game to achieve those weak stats, and shot 32% from deep, making .5 shots out of 1.6 attempts per game from deep. He also averaged 2.2 turnovers per game. He had a 4.4-10 turnover to assist ratio and your stating (and I quote) "I watched that season, one of the most fun season to watch in Jazz history since Stockton and Malone retired." And your calling me the idiot?? Please, stay in your lane Mario Andretti. THAT YEAR WAS THE FIRST TIME THE JAZZ HAD MISSED THE PLAYOFFS SINCE 1984!!! And I'm the idiot!!?? Pull your lip over your head and swallow.
And last but not least, I never started to compare them, you did that! I am simply stepping in with the baby powder and a back hand pimp slap that you have coming your direction, all because I see a trick stepping out of line. Pick your face up off the floor.

You’re wrong.

The jazz missed out on the playoffs, true. That sucked. But they were projected to be not just bad, but historically had. Seeing how they were competitive under Sloan without S2M was extremely entertaining. It kept the franchise financially viable and a maintained the continuity of class and competitivenes that embodies the franchise today. How often have we said, “x player isn’t a jazz player”? That is largely because of the continuity we had after S2M retired and the franchise’s first great era had expired. The jazz still strive for unselfish and smart players in part because there was no major identity crisis in those first few post S2M years. Did it take them a while to collect talent to rejoin the playoff teams? Yes. But I don’t remember ever thinking, “Man this team is full of selfish jackasses. They’re unbearable to watch. Blow this up.” Like fans of other franchises undoubtedly think (Knicks, Kings, Suns, Nets, etc)

That 2003-2004 season was entertaining. Sloan should’ve won COY easily that year. It set the jazz up for a nice run under the Boozer-Okur-Williams era. Honestly, the only time in the past 30 years I think we’ve suffered from an identity crisis where team interest sagged was under the brief Corbin era. The team lacked talent, had no offensive game plan, and wasn’t fun to watch. Watch Al Jefferson hog the ball and then dog it on defense wasn’t fun at all. Thank god we signed Snyder and reestablished our identity.

Had the jazz been as historically nauseating as most experts predicted, I’m not sure if the franchise survives (especially considering the recession and movement of major franchises ala Seattle) until the Gobert-Mitchell Jazz era of 2019.

Please post Exum's stats, then go look again at advanced stats, compare to Arroyo and go and hide before I rip you a new one.

You are seriously looking at advanced stats of players 15 years apart?? Do you understand how this game works?? For one, the game is completely different back then and advanced stats when putting in comparison with another player would only be accurate if the talent of the ENTIRE team is equally matched, and the talent of the opponents of every team they played are equally matched. It's completely irrelevant to compare 2 players from completely different decades with 100% different teammates, facing 100% different opponents in 100% different style's of play.
I really think that it cute that you would bring out your 1938 Websters dictionary to a math class.
And before you rip ME a new one?? I just cut your a**hole all the way up your backside!

Wow,
I had no idea Carlos Arroyo had this much support. I am aware of the season they had. I am aware of what happened. I am just saying that it is definitely not the Jazz most exciting season ever outside of the Stockton-Malone area like your boyfriend MVP stated who it seems you will go and defend him to the death. So you, MVP and Carlos Arroyo can now drift away to your private island where the only working TV on the island shows the 7 minutes of Arroyo's highlights again and again and again. I will leave you 20 Red Bulls from 2019 to rashon out for the rest of your existence. And I am denying you a computer and internet access because I really don't want to type this much telling Carlos Arroyo supporters how bad he sucks. You have to be related or something to him. This is crazy why were still here. Anyways, have fun reproducing with your two brothers, your kids will be hideous.

Technically @Lakers_Slapper and @MVP Are flirting.

Yea that's it. You obviously will reply to anything. You have an award under your name for a top contributor on a blog site to prove it. Your fear all year is going to be that if you do not make enough ignorant statements on Jazzfanz, you will lose your little gold medal. That's not sad at all!!!! What pressure you must feel day after day, year after year. You have stamp saying that you have nothing productive to do with your time except dedicate your life to this site. Go to sleep now, past your bed time little boy.

You hitting on “ignorant statements”. Hahah

Also thanks for stalking me long enough to look for what I have and haven’t done. Do I need a restraining order? Combined with an age joke?

Damn, you legit.

Also **** you. Simply because you’re a twit who can’t take a joke

Exum can get by his defender at will and often can blow by the entire pick-and-roll coverage. He just needs to make the right play once that happens. He started finishing inside this season. Baby steps.

The problem with Exum is that he isn’t healthy long enough to take those baby steps.

Please reread my post and cite any and every specific mentions of Carlos Arroyo. Then we can continue this discussion.

When does he do this? He's lost two seasons due to serious injury and has now lost out on a big chunk of this season due to some... Ankle owie?

Missing out on 2.5 seasons already doesn't bode well for whatever "potential" he has. At some point he needs to play and play consistently. That hasn't happened and we're in what... Year 4? Year 5?

I'm sure Greg Oden looked good at times too.

The age thing wasn't a joke and I wasn't trying to be funny. You probably are a child. And don't degrade me, I'm not just a stalker! I also suffer from Schizophrenia and have multiple personality disorder. All 5 personalities I suffer from think that you should go play toy trucks in the middle of the freeway. Nice thing about being a schizophrenic, I don't care if you laugh because I will be laughing at that image my crazy mind created for a very very very long time. And I don't think a restraining orders do much to stop psychopaths like me.
