I’m thinking this means the Jazz are going to focus on developing and re-signing Mudiay as a long term backup. I’m cool with this.

How doesn't it move the needle? We literally just let go someone who was doing literally nothing for us for someone who can actually score

He said it doesn't move it a ton, not doesn't move it at all.
 
After letting this trade marinate.... I'm going to take a wait and see approach.

I stand by my initial impression IF that is our only move.

But after thinking about I think this might be just the first of multiple moves to improve our bench. We might be looking into moving a few of the young guys into the rotation eventually. Or targeting a few buyout targets in February.

We'll see how it goes
 
After that fall Dante took and then that other play where he looked injured and had to come out I think we benched him in fear of his getting injured until we could trade him.
