David Locke Podcast Notes

I can't see a Locke thread without reminding the world that David Locke is a HACK! The last interview I heard, he told his guest that he steals other's intelligent thoughts. He can't generate them on his own. He is a hack.

Rep prizes to be handed out to the best picture, Gif, or video that shows how big of a hack David Locke is...

Guys, can we get past all the negativity.

Cy did a nice job summarizing the podcast: we should thank him.

When it was pointed out that others had (slightly) different interpretations, Cy clarified openly, honestly and intelligently, and he adjusted his communication to be more clear. Stand-up stuff.

lol, because no one ever uses insight and data from others.

You caught him!

He always credits where he gets his ideas, never plagiarizes.

He does what we all do -- get ideas from other people whose opinions we respect. The idea that we have truly original thoughts generated in vacuums is from Ayn Randian wonderland.

I don't always agree with Locke, but he has well informed opinions.

Yeah, I have never understood the Locke hate.

Even if you think he is a company shill than he is still useful. As he gives you insight into what the Jazz FO is thinking and where they are headed.

Either way I appreciate the hard work he puts into things.

Locke is a shill, ask Gregg.

This reminds me of one more reason I will be boycotting this season.

MILLERS: FIRE THIS OBNOXIOUS DUNCE, BUILD A PROPER PRODUCT, AND START TRYING TO COMPETE FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP.

How many fans are the Jazz going to lose before the Millers quit pretending their used car sales pitch won't burn out?

hahahahaha

This might be your best reason yet.

If this hubris weren't so sad, it would be funny. Do you have any idea what Locke's job description is? I'm quite confident it isn't "get very little sleep and spend a crap-load of time doing a daily podcast for Jazz-junkies to enjoy." The dude sacrifices a lot and goes above and beyond what is expected of him. Because of his efforts, he has introduced me to ideas, perspectives, and nuances that I would not have otherwise embraced. I really appreciate the time and energy he has devoted to the fans.

As to your infantile tantrum, it's easy to live in a virtual world, hence your recent comment about a "rebuild game." Grown-ups always know that in an actual world, nearly everything is harder to accomplish than one's desires or theory would dictate. Philosophers and gurus for the longest time have pointed out that the miserable person misses the beauty in the present moment based off of a longing for the past Golden Age or a future chimera. Good luck on your "BOYcott"!

For what it's worth, Locke is really vocal about being in favor of Kaepernick's protest on his podcast. I don't think that is a stance someone who is a mere puppet of Greg Miller would vocalize.

I know we're all happy that Hayward has become bigger & stronger, but I'm kinda/sorta starting to get a little suspicious of Hayward's rapid physical growth... From what he looked like as a rookie until now, the changes in his physique remind me of how Barry Bonds went from a skinny lanky kid to a bulked up monster. Those kinds of massive changes usually don't come without some sort of chemical "assistance". I hope I'm wrong because the NBA suspends a player that tests positive for HGH 20 games (1st offense), 45 games (2nd offense) and lifetime ban from the NBA on the 3rd offense.

6-7 years of gradual steadily increasing muscle as his body goes through the maturation years are giving you pause for "rapid physical growth" ???
