Jazz management toyed with Kanter somehow...they claim they did all their best to make him happy but I didn't notice much support to his game when he was on the court....he never had a clear role on the team, they didn't exploit his offensive talent, they allowed Corbin to scapegoat him publicly....your teammates and fans don't respect you when your coach scapegoat you like that....where was the management support and defense?
Objectively Kanter has few reasons to be happy during his Jazz time, he was part of a rebuilding and tanking team for almost three seasons, he spent two seasons sleeping on the bench despite showing promising games, he didn't contribuite to win games and so on....he must blame himself first of all but the management isn't without guilts.
Locke speaks about trust and said the Jazz didn't trust in Enes attitude to pay him....the point is the Jazz didn't trust in Enes game first of all.
His frustration is understandable but there was no need to express it publicly like he did....he just gave extra reasons to his haters and he has been disrespectful with fans like me that supported him heavily.
Probably he has still bad blood against the Jazz management for the way they treated him during the first three seasons but he could keep it for himself....in spite of everything the Jazz indulged his wish to be traded despite getting almost nothing in return.
I'm sorry, but how did Burks have it tougher? I agree he had it really bad years 1-2, but his role was clearly defined in his third year, and he was relied upon. Enes was still being jerked around his entire third year, then benched for Marvin Williams.
Here is the game logs for 13-14 in case you,ve forgotten. There were games he only played twelve ****ing minutes. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/k/kanteen01/gamelog/2014/
And b-line is one of those posters who always forms his opinion based on what the majority think. In other words, you bring very little to any discussion, son.
Did you even read the post you submitted? I was actually asking a sincere question.
(Enes actual was handed the starting role ahead of marvin as well)
Looks like a genius move on Ty's part now doesn't it?
Your memory fails you. Marvin was injured, as was Trey, and Jeremy, and we had yet to pick up Diante, so we had Tinsley and JLIII at the point. Everyone got healthy around the same time, and instead of Corbin chalking up the rough start to a depleted roster and a young team, Enes loses his starting gig and is scapegoated for the poor start. Enes didn't start over Marvin. In preseason, Enes had Marvin starting over him. I remember, because I threw a fit.

Burks never started and played behind worse players than enes in his first three years and probably played less total minutes (even though he played behind crappier players....... I could be wrong about who played less minutes but I feel like it was Burks due to all the dnp's his first two years) than kanter.
I still say playing behind howard, bell, cj, richard jefferson, and to a lesser extent randy foye (a decent player at least) rather than sap, al, favs, and marv means burks got screwed by corbin worse.
Don't really matter though. Burks got screwed over his first 3 years.... never bitched..... seems to have a good relationship with his teammates..... likes the city and fans..... gave it his best effort during games...... and accepted a good reasonable contract extension.
Kanter got screwed over his first 3 years.... apparently bitched about stuff..... teammates seem to have not liked him.... didn't like the city, organisation, or fans.... didn't try his hardest during games.... and thought he was a max money dude.
Oh, and asked for a trade.
**** him
Ya, I could not really hate to on foye starting even though I still think burks was the better player at the time.A younger Randy Foye would look SOOOO good on this team right now. . .
