Few interesting facts:

• Mavs are way ahead of us in the standings, but both teams are actually 4-6 in their last 10
• We are a horrible road team (1-9), but Mavs arent great with home court advantage either (5-4)
• Mavs are a bottom 10 defense in the NBA (25th in DRtg, we are 23rd). We have only played two games against bottom 10 ranked defenses (CHI, IND) thus far all season, and 8 games against defenses ranked in top 10 (3 POR, 2 MIN, LAL, ORL, LAC)
• Both teams like to jack up 3s, as Mavs rank #1 and we rank #8 in 3PA per game. Mavs have hit 37.0% (12th in NBA) for the season and we have hit 35.2% (23rd).

Interesting game but despite Dallas having a rough stretch, we need big bounces and/or hot shooting to win this as our offense is likely gonna struggle again with Lauri, JC and KO out.

Jazz and Nuggets are playing on NBA TV. I think this is the game where Stockton passed Magic's all-time assists record? Hot Rod instead of bolerjack!

I was at that game! Just dumb lucked into it. A guy gave me tickets for working on his house. I didn't know at the time Stock was close to the record. It was pretty cool being there for a piece of history.

He broke the record in 94-95 and played until 02-03. Untouchable.

Magic is now #7 on the list and Chrissy is within about 500 of passing Kidd for #2.

I was at one of the games prior to Stockton's assist record. They were doing a countdown to the record on the wall under the upper bowl. I was sitting on the front row of the upper bowl and I was lucky enough to be in one of the seats that got to turn over the countdown number (I think it was number 23).

Now of course that would have all been done digitally. I miss the 90s.
