Game Thread Dec 17, 2020: Jazz at Clippers (Preseason)

This offense looks more like what I thought it would last year. Except more threes. And more depth than imagined last year.

We are also spending a lot of time in a zone... it’s mostly been not great... but good to see us experimenting.

I want to say Clippers ORTg is over 200 against the zone with that last 3 by Kawhi, but yeah, nice to see some experimenting. Even if it doesn't work, playing zone can create habits that you don't get by playing "stay home and let Rudy defend everything" defense.

Anyone listen to Locke on the Dunc'd On podcast for our season preview? He thought that in terms of playing time this year it would go Brantley first, then Oni, then Morgan. Thought that was a hot take...

That's definitely a very hot take. I will be stunned if Brantley gets playing time ahead of those other two guys.
