Trump is abrasive and obnoxious. I'm not sold that he's actually racist or a chauvinist (see earlier two words), but no one on this board could carry his jock in a board room. So not an idiot.

I would call Hillary something more akin to career-politician and all that goes with that. Sneaky.

I think you can be good at business and still be an idiot.

I think you have to be an idiot to run a fake university, only an idiot would make fun of the handicapped while running for president, its idiotic to not put a qualified judge in place simply due to race, having your wife give a speech identical to one given by the current first lady is something an idiot would do.


Im going to stick with idiot as one of my many descriptive words for trump.

You can be very very smart in one part of life (real estate, business, etc.... Though if what GF said about trump having to claim bankruptcy is true then maybe he isn't even smart in that realm either) and very very idiotic in other parts of life imo.

Just so you're aware, the way bankruptcy law is written.. there is a FORTUNE to be made in strategic CH11. I'm doing dozens of DIP loans. Google it.

I wasn't aware. I'm an idiot when it comes to business.

I just want you to be aware that trump can be good at real estate and business and still be an idiot.

And you should also be aware that you can be an idiot and still make money. Depends on what you consider to be the definition of idiot.

I suppose you could credit anyone who manages to "make money" with brains just on the basis of their having made a few bucks. There is a long history of folks who are shysters and hucksters whose biggest talent is convincing others that they are NOT a shyster or a huckster. That's about how I see the Donald.

In many MANY ways Trump has convinced me he's not very intelligent, even if he has a bit of a gift for persuasion.
 
My take on this.

Politicians and political speech writers have been drawing ideas/inspiration from each other for decades. This is no different and is beyond a non issue.

If this was my campaign the most I would have done in this situation would be to release a statement along the lines of " we borrowed inspiration from previous speeches. This is no different than political speeches for the last several decades. But easier to focus on this than focusing on real issues like immigration right?"
