What's new

Different map of Europe.

Found what you were taking about. It was not an invasion, it was a naval support mission to ged rid of Bolshevik occupation in Latvia and Estonia. Technically none of british soldiers ever stepped on the Baltic land as it was all naval fights in the Baltic sea vs Russians. So again, map is incorrect.

I wouldn't be surprised to be honest with you. I saw this map in a tweet and shared with you guys without checking the details. It appears that it is a map from a 2012 The Telegraph article.

Looking from where you clarified, it might be an exaggerated one to make their point. The point remains though. The British imperialist / colonialist invasion was really one of its kind. I think Hollywood and other aspects of globalism finished the job culturally.

Hence, we are able to come together here as people from all different nations that speak the English language and support an American basketball team.

"Lithuania: [none] though before becoming King, Henry IV took part in a crusade there with the Teutonic Knights."

Here is another map that shows the lands British army had not invaded:

Here's a map showing British TV invading my soul.

Oh wait, I don't have one.

Thanks, learned something new. So he and 70-80 knights were paid mercenaries during unsuccessful siege of Vilnius in 1390. Still don't think it counts as British invasion...

Here is a nice classic American joke.

No really. Most Americans, being the self centered people we are knowed to be, do not realize how much are tv programming comes from England. Popular shows like The Office are franchise adaptations of British comedy. Brits actually create new content all Hollywood does anymore is manufacture boilerplate crap like a most new music products. Apply formula an go.

BTW this dudes channel is pretty kewl. There's a good number of Turks on here so I chose this video.

Interesting, how do typical Aussie women look like? Aren't Aussies a mix of different ethnicities and do not really have a typical look?
Here are some ladies from Aussie rugby team, which one is most representative???

My father is Austrailian and I've lived there for many years. The one in the middle is the most "accurate" although all wouldn't look out of place.

Sydney is a melting pot. You could toss anyone from anywhere in there and they'd fit right in.

So do you actually fancy British humor?

Yes mate. Problem with Brit TV is they only do like six or eight shows for a few seasons only an a ckouple blockbuster movies. Opposite America tv problem of 24 series seasons an dragging things on to the point of ruining a legacy. Friends, Seinfeld, Big Bang Theory right now...
