I just think the D League just needs to make Homey it's president
 
wake me up when the dleague becomes an official farm league.

- ea team needs to have their own team
- ea team needs complete control of their team.
- players can be sent down and pulled up when ever.
- nba only allows 12 active players on their roster everyone else is in the dleague
- pay is increase to $50k - $100k per.
- the drafts expanded to 4 rounds.
- nba franchises owns the players on their dleague team and can only call up from their team
- nba trade can include dleague players

This is an excellent idea. Rumor has it that this year the Jazz offered signing bonuses to guys they brought to camp and later cut to try and soften the horrible DLeague salary. At least one (Cooley) resurfaced in a Jazz uniform.
 
Hey there is this high school kid in the Reno area that hit 30 straight free throws in games, and once hit 11 straight 3's over a few games. I think he may be the answer!

Yep, and make it eligible for HS players to enter the draft. Players that go to college need to commit to play at least 2 or 3 years, similar to baseball.

Parts of this are nice, but this is impractical. Players association would not want to restrict this number of DL players from signing with a team in need, just because they are in another team's farm system.

More practically you would want to expand the number of players under contract from 15 to 18, so that a team has ~6 players on their "farm" and 6+ other "free agents" who can be picked over by other teams whenever.

i could live with this. I just get sick of these teams that have a few injuries and they only suit up 8 or 9 players that should never happen.
