What's new

Do you feel the front office is to blame?

Let's admit the Jazz front office has been naive and passive. They took Mack and Hill in order to convince Hayward to stay...they traded for Rubio and re-sign Ingles for the same reason. This is not the way to manage a franchise.

We can't blame Hayward, he had too many reasons to join the Celtics. The Jazz had to know Hayward's plans long time ago and not letting him all the time to decide and arrive to such conclusion.

Let's see how magnanimous everyone is once the season starts and The Jazz struggle to score 85 points every night.

The FO has done some amazing things in the past but what matters is what your team looks like today. And in the last week The Jazz lost their two best offensive players and two leaders and replaced them with one of the most inefficient shooters in the league.

Sorry, but this team as it stands now will not make the playoffs. Fans should be holding the FO's feet to the fire right now otherwise there are going to be some very pissed off fans come December.

The only reasons to go to the Celtics are their own. Are you really so stupid as to think that they knew of his plans and didn't act ?? ffs

If it looks really bad they'll probably go tank mode for 2 years..and maybe try to rebuild around Gobert and Mitchell

Ab has some legitimate points, I agree that the Trey Burke decision has proven monumental, and it's never sat well that it was made by Corbin. Wtf does his input matter? Especially considering they knew he was out in a year. Many on here were wanting Burke but there was a strong contingent wanting giannis and Rudy. Luckily we got Rudy! Not a fan of Harrison Barnes though and don't feel we'd be necessarily in a better place with him. The George Hill thing was an OK gamble to me ONLY BECAUSE that draft sucked hardcore

I think the IG post with Hayward's kids with clover shirts should have been taken more seriously.

We can't just trade off our best player every time his contract is almost up. If the jazz did Business like u want them to, they'll never get anywhere in none stop building mode

Hmm I'll thumps up your post for creativity and making a semi-valid point

Yeah he took a few days to decide because he was torn but yes I think he's had his mind on Boston for a long time and I don't hate on him, change is good, in his shoes i'd probably moved on too, but yes as a Jazz fan I'm let down. It was a good business move and it's his life, he gave us his best while here no?

I look forward to what our FO does because they are one of the best. Did you see Donovan Mitchell at summer league? Rubio was a smooth move too.

No telling what the future holds but I'll be rooting for Gordon against James & Durant I tell you that! I also can't wait to see Hayward get crossed up by Rubio or Mitchell or Exum exclamated by a thunderous slam from Gobert! All players our front office brought in bro!

The management had to pressure Hayward to tell them his plans before 1st July! Hayward and his agent made only their interests without caring about the Jazz.
