Does Jabari Parker have a chance at slipping past the 4th overall pick?

I thought so too, so I'm not sure why he seemed to kind of defend him in the post I responsed to.

I was not defending him. Just pointing to things scouts raving about. Every player will have cons and pros. To me his cons are significant enough to dismiss him as top 5 talent in this draft.

Numbers and stats aside, Exum just doesn't pass the eye test for me when you watch extensive playing time. His highlights can look really good at times, but I don't see a dominant player at the next level. I could be way wrong about him. I just think that he's going to struggle against NBA competition. He should have gone to college for a year. . . but if he get's drafted in the top 10 and can't really keep up, then I guess it was a good decision on his part.

I'd feel much better about getting Wiggins, Parker, Vonleh, Gordon or Randle. Still don't know what to think of Smart yet. I don't see him as a top 5 pick, but again. . . I could very well be wrong.

It was very wise of Exum not to go to college. He would have been exposed badly. At least we can surmise from his decision to go to the league that he's smart - or at least smart enough to listen to his people. So that's good.
