Sadly, I don't think he does.

Not sure what will happen to him though.

Surely Rudy gets the starting nod for the rest of the season, but does Kanter play at all?
 
Didn't AK ask to be traded and the jazz said no. Jazz don't seem to give in to players not named Deron Williams. Also Bell says hey.
 
A decision like this affects asset management in a big way. Going into next year, our two best assets for improving the team were Kanter and our next pick, and this decision affects the value of both. Kanter may have forced our hand in selling low on him. If he wants out, he would probably pull a Monroe rather than risk signing an offer the Jazz would match.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them do some damage control and try to salvage the situation. Bad situation, but it may be possible to salvage by convincing him to play out the year and then sign and trade him in the offseason. He can see the writing on the wall as far as not starting on the Jazz, but he might be talked into finishing out the year if he believes we'll give him a trade in the offseason.
 
Yeap. Seen it in a dream. I also saw in my dream Kanter beating up a ref out of frustration. Kid needs a solid mentor instead of his current agent and cult sergeants so much that it interrupts my dreams.
 
He did say something to the tune of if this doesn't happen I won't want to be here, and the Jazz and everyone else in the NBA knew he wouldn't resign with Utah

I doubt he's gone before the deadline. Small market teams can't give up on 22 year old bigs that average 14 & 8 just because they throw a fit. We've invested WAY too much into Enes to just let him go for pennies on the dollar.

I know he said it in an interview shortly after Brewer was traded and he constantly said that's why I signed for the minimum of three years, but my point is that everyone that knows anything about the NBA knew he wasn't resigning.

If anything, Kanter's comments will have more teams coming out of the woodwork to inquire on Kanter's availability. I highly doubt the Jazz will value him any less because of the comments. This is a business, and they will run it as such. If they can get what the believe is fair value in a trade that makes sense for the team, they will do it. Otherwise they keep him. I'm guessing he still starts too.

I did notice that his defense was actually pretty good last night, especially on Dirk.
