Locked on Warriors people seem to think if a Lauri deal isn't happening the team will try to move GP2/Moody for a front court piece.

Could be. If we're negotiating in the media, we're playing it right.

I probably value Kuminga more than most living here in the Bay Area. He made a hell of a leap last season and is still just scratching the surface. IMO, he's an immediate 20+ ppg guy for us next year, and the athletic prototype for a modern-day wing. All-NBA potential if the shooting improves.

Keyonte, Cody, and Kuminga with a tidal wave of future draft capital is a fun core to build around.

This is modus operandi for any GM worth his weight in 4th of July Nathan's Hot Dogs. It's about driving up value on existing offers, and does make think we're looking to deal Lauri sooner rather than later if Danny-boy is indeed pushing this.

I have enjoyed this stormofwar posting surge of late.

I just heard on the local Indy radio that Indy inquired about Lauri.

A team having a conversation about Lauri shouldn't be news. Every team could use him. There are only a few teams, however, that really have the assets to make it happen.
