Is that a championship roster even if Draymond stays sane, complete health across the board, and Wiggins has an Ok year? Even with three of the best shooters in the NBA they still lack shooting

Shhhhhhh! Don’t tell them that. 46 wins was 10th in the West. Steph played 74 games last year. Dray is a front runner who turns into a toddler if he isn’t winning all the time. Wiggins ain’t even like basketball anymore. Everyone on twitter is acting like these picks will be in the late 20s in perpetuity. If Steph misses 25 games they end up in the play in. Dray loses his mind on top of it and we’ve got a late lotto pick. What happens if Steph tears his ACL or Achilles… albatross contract and you’ve got high picks for days… then they start to contemplate selling off Lauri to get other good picks cuz how else will they reload? Atlanta Brooklyn Houston Clippers soon Phoenix all have felt the sting of these types of deals. Maybe they are all in the 20s and Steph is the new Lebron… but in any given night it can go south for Steph and he’s at an age where he may never get it back.

As far as spending money soon can't the jazz just sign kira lewis to a 1 year 15 million dollar deal or something?

Shouldn't be hard to spend money imo

Yeah but you can also collect like 3-5 second round picks for taking on that type of salary. Teams are salary dumping stuff again.

I say no it's not a championship roster. I would predict the 5th seed or something. Ceiling of the second round of playoffs

In all honesty, if they do move Lauri, I’d like to see them open up the LaVine talks again. Clarkson/Collins for LaVine and draft assets coming back. There’s no reason to do it if Markkanen is on the roster, but tons of reasons if he’s traded.

Good point. Problem is that taking on that kind of salary might mean we get a vet who can play and now the young guys ride pine and we get a worse pick.

Somewhat doubtful that fact would bother an egotistical owner such as Lacob who has stated the Warriors "are light years ahead". They need to find some way to maximize the last 3-4 years of Curry.
