It's so lame the Heat wasted a first on the Terry Rozier trade because they would be a perfect Sexton trade partner.

Seems like they drafted very well and have a team that can play quasi-five out while having great rim protection, which would be perfect for Sexton.

Now that it's confirmed Lauri is staying Im going to bump this thread and allow votes to be changed.

Zach Collins for Collin Sexton works straight up and the Spurs have a ton of picks.

If I was the Spurs I would be aggressive in trying to add Sexton while they have CP3. That would be a great learning experience for Sexton.

Not going to happen before the season. Slight chance he’s traded during the season.

LAL, DET, CHO would be my teams to watch.

SAS is kind of interesting. The name I would watch for there is Keldon Johnson, who has has been on the rumor mill a bit. The idea of him is great. Versatile, young forward on a really favorable contract....but he's been a true tank commander the last couple of seasons. Is that him being bad? Is it the bad winning situation? Does he have bad habits? I'm not quite sure. I could see his career going the Aaron Gordon way, where once he gets on a real team he settles in as a highly valuable role player. I could also see it going the Jerami Grant way, where he's really just a good stats/bad team guy who leaves a lot to be desired.

He's a score first slightly undersized forward who cant defend. He's the high end of what Brice can be. I wouldnt really want him. I'd rather just take Collins and take a picks based package.

I dont see the upside of taking him on. He would get in the way of you developing Hendricks/Williams without much benefit.

Detroit makes a ton of sense for Sexton, but they have no first rounders from other teams and have their own first round picks tied up in protections. They have shown a desire to compete with their off-season moves, so they should be very interested in a Sexton for THJ swap.

I think Danny will have to settle for a mediocre Sexton deal ultimately. Would Detroit do an unprotected 2029 pick (the first pick they can trade I believe) and THJ? Would Danny take that? Can the Jazz ask for Ivey and reroute him for something else? I think Sexton is worth more than a single pick, but two first from Detroit is probably untenable. They do have a lot of 2nd round picks.

Keldon has more Barnes than Gordon Grant imo. Not really interested.
