20T to 1000T, on the exponential curve of the past 16 years, looks like this. Doubles every Presidential 8 years we let some idiot-savant demagogue hold sway for the term limit....
20, 40, 80, 160, 320, 640, 1280.... about 46 years, when the Fed will have to peg interest rates at 0.1% to keep the US "solvent" enough to "service the debt", paying out 1T annually in interest to whoever claims to own the fiat currency as it rolls off the press. oh, duh, "The Fed", not us.
I have never figured out why when "we" print fiat currency, it is somehow an asset on the books of some private unaudited creature run by bankers. not us.
If we print the checks and send them out to various client voter block folks, how does it show up on our books as our debt?

I'm sure when Donald cuts taxes, builds a wall, and increases defense spending (hell let's throw another war in there. Kim's been asking for it), our national deficit will become a surplus. #MAGA

I think a trillion gets more than roads, really. Airports, ports, high-speed rails, a canal network so we can float stuff from coast to coast.
Bill Gates can pay for the transparency.
I've always said one thing about anyone who holds a debt against someone else... You have to be able to collect.
I'm not saying this as a joke. No one on this planet can enforce their claim against the U.S.. No one can collect the credit they extended to the U.S.. The U.S. pays because it's in the United State's interest to pay. As soon as that changes the U.S. will say to our lenders "Come and get your money." No one can make us pay. No one. Not China, not even close.
Even if the entire world closed ranks on the US we could simply maintain ourselves and proper. Any attempt to invade the mainland would end in nuclear war.
Best they could do is have the rest of the world turn their backs on America. They won't.

"The Facebook warrant "means that Mueller has concluded that specific foreign individuals committed a crime by making a 'contribution' in connection with an election," Mariotti wrote on Saturday.
"It also means that he has evidence of that crime that convinced a federal magistrate judge of two things: first, that there was good reason to believe that the foreign individual committed the crime. Second, that evidence of the crime existed on Facebook."
That has implications for Trump and his associates, too, Mariotti said.
"It is a crime to know that a crime is taking place and to help it succeed. That's aiding and abetting. If any Trump associate knew about the foreign contributions that Mueller's search warrant focused on and helped that effort in a tangible way, they could be charged."

it's like giving a speeding ticket to someone the officer specifically dislikes, and has followed around for weeks doing nothing but tail the person he's out to cite. While thousands of motorists all around are speeding 15 mph, he cites his target for 1 mph over, and it's all on the officer's cams.
